Project Launched: March 2025

Project Requirements: Website Design, Brand Update, and New Content

Montmorency Osteopathic wanted a website that able to adapt to her business as it grew and changed.

Project Overview

Monty Osteo wanted a refresh to her previous website that Dana (the owner) felt like she had outgrew it and wanted a change. The clinic had under went a relocation and re-branding so a new website to reflect the new change was needed to complete the transformation.

Key Themes And Styles

Buttons & Calls to Action

Dana wanted to see more content on the homepage with clear call-to-actions to specific pages, and adding Monty Osteos social media links to the top of the website so it’s easier for her audience to find these details.

What I Did

1. Development

I design a new website design, layout and navigation to reflect their new brand styles. As I previously designed Montmorency Osteopathic Clinic Website Design on WordPress as its allows business the opportunity to grow which made implementing their new design very easy and it went live within 48 hours of receiving the final brand concept and guidelines.

We kept WooCommerce for her online store as the tech was fine it was just a matter of updating the design to reflect the new brand.

Once launched, I made some SEO updates and Dana’s new website was ready to share.

2. Apply Branding

Monty Osteo had a fresh new brand developed by Jules Designs Things. Once completed, I added their new logo, font & colour styles for their new website design, then more subtle branding elements such as their graphics, favicon and specific copy to reflect their brand personality across the design.

One of the new Brand fonts was not available for free on google Fonts or Divi Fonts so we downloaded an .otf, and .woff font file to install into her website, to ensure a consistent brand across Monty Osteo’s marketing.

3. SEO Boost

We reviewed the website page speed as we noticed it was struggling and implemented some updates (and provided Dana with other less urgent strategies), reduced image size and updated the page titles to reflect the new business name while also adding effective keywords to maximise search results.

4. Features

All buttons use the new brand colours with opposing colours upon hovering to keep website visitors engaged and interested to click.

Facebook and Instgram icons were added to the header of the website so new website visitors looking to follow them on social media, they can do so easily.

An image of the new Al-Anon Family Groups Website on an ipad and mobile.

Project Overview

The team at Al-Anon Family Groups are an absolute dream to work with on their new webiste design. They wanted a bold, brand-led, user-friendly website with an active list of their meetings that members are able to view and join, either in-person or online. They also requested an online store so members can purchase literature, and be able to provide resources in other formats such as podcasts, videos and free downloads.

Key Website Themes And Styles

New Brand Styles + Layout

Al-Anon Family Groups wanted a bold, accessible and brand-aligned website that will be able to give their audience the feeling of support, empathy and action.

Images

The Al-Anon Family Groups team are unable to show faces of their members and staffs faces on their website. Instead we will use generic images, Al-Anon Family Groups posters and illustrations.

eCommerce Literature Store

A critical element to the design was implementing an online eCommerce store full of useful literature for their members so they can easily purchase any resources that will best support them.

Calls to Action

It was important to have the website linked to their ‘World Service Audience’, ‘Find A Meeting’ and their other resources that supprort their community.

Agas Plumber Website Project

What I Did

1. Design + Development

I worked very closely with Helen and the team on the design and development on the website to ensure the look feel and content was accurate to what they wanted. I created 2 versions of the design before implementing the final design to WordPress.

2. Images

As Al-Anon Family Groups didn’t have any original images they could use. Instead I sourced images form copyright free websites and illustrations to explain their process and how they can support their members and others in community.

3. Systems + e-Commerce

The Al-Anon Family Groups team expressed that they had an inbox that was overflowing with orders and answering many calls for literature orders, which stopped them from working on other tasks that needed actioning in the NFP.

By applying an ecommerce platforms to their website allowed the purchase process to be smoother and less admin intensive. This system  freed up their inbox and phonelines for more imprortant tasks.

We also connected Al-Anon Family Group’s meetings to the website which supports each area and the community further – with search functions and maps view so those in the country can find their closest meeting location.

The Results

N

They have a website that represents their business and brand personality, after 12 years of having the same website that they slowly out-grew. As now there are bold blue and yellow tones, a live “Find A Meeting” feed for both online and in-person meetings, a list of the services they provide, and accessible member resources from free materials to the online literature store.

N

They’ve been able to earn more money for their NFP and give back to each area to support their members because now they have an automated system to simplify how their members can purchase resources form the organisation and not from other  platforms not connected to their NFP.

N

They get over 1,000 monthly clicks (and 20,000 monthy impressions) to their website from google searches, with most results going to their homepage, find a meeting page and member resources page. By Australian and some international customers and a small majority more using their mobile to find them over desktop or laptop users.

N

The Al-Anon Family Groups team feel confident to edit and amend the website so it stays up to date, by themselves, and work closely with Natalie on small to large updates to their NFP’s online systems and website if they need more substantial work done to the website.

What I Did

1. Development

I created a bold yet simple, easy-to-navigate layout for the Mornington Peninsula Precious Beauty team that allowed their brand personality + styles clear to their audience and attract a younger demographic with their redesign.

Their website was already using WordPress so I created a test version to build their new website while keeping their current website live. Then during launch week we hid the website behind a “Coming Soon” page and transferred their new website design across. This allowed the Mornington Peninsula Precious Beauty team to test the new website before going live. I trained the team on how to use their new WordPress CMS + how to update their website content.

2. A Bold Re-Branding

Mornington Peninsula Precious Beauty went through a bold re-brand and created marketing collateral with these styles, so creating a website design concept was easy to develop.

I designed a layout that showed their information clearly while also looking modern and easy for their audience to use. As their brand colours are black, white and red, my biggest challenge was using these colours without creating a design that would overwhelm their audience.

3. Increase Website SEO

I worked with Mornington Peninsula Precious Beauty on SEO Strategies before engaging with them for their new website design, so we had a good SEO base before starting. With this design, the main areas i wanted to focus on were the fresh content across webpages, treatments and products; while applying on-page and technical SEO to their new website design.

4. Website Features

Mornington Peninsula Precious Beauty made it clear they wanted email marketing integrated into their website, their Instagram feed to encourage click-throughs and new followers. They always wanted to allow their audience to buy their products on social media by creating a product feed link between their social media and their website.

All of these strategies allow their audience to connect with them easily while being able to purchase their products no matter which platform their audience is using.

It also allows Mornington Peninsula Precious Beauty the ability to remind their audience of the products and services they provide, and encourage new and repeat sales from their audience.

The Results

Website Design - Hassett Recruitment Agency Melbourne
N

Mornington Peninsula Precious Beauty made their first sales within 2 days of their new website design launching.

N

Clients have been thrilled by the different payment options such as ApplePay and PayPal Pay in 4 so they can simply purchase treatments and flexibly pay over 4 weeks, if needed.

N

In the first week of being live, the website gained double the traffic than it previously did when it was on Wix.

Testimonial
